The key to a successful rehabilitation program is timing and control.

While strength is certainly important during the latter stages of rehabilitation, current evidence shows that without timing and control functional gains cannot be achieved. With the assistance of clinical consultants and researchers, The Prometheus Group now offers you a choice of systems and trainers for the hospital, long-term care facility, clinic, workplace and home that facilitate functional gains like no others. From vivid, multi-colored programmable visual displays to unique ratio modes. From the revolutionary Pathway™ Preamplifier* and Pathway™ Electrode* to the free Pathway™ Utilities/Compliance PC computer software.

Now, for the first time, you can choose from the Pathway™ family of products those which precisely fit your application.

In the Workplace, Choose the MR Series for Rehabilitation

Lower Extremity

Progress from weight bearing to weight shifting to functional activities with your VMO/VL and vastus medialis/hamstrings deficient patients.

All Pathway™ MR series products interface to functional stimulators to aid in patient compliance or provide assistance to fatiguing muscle.

Upper Extremity

Work with univolved/involved muscle pairs. Assess and rehabilitate shoulder problems from correct form to function...even emulating an athlete's sport.

The Hand

The size and configuration of the Pathway™ Preamplifier* and Pathway™ Electrode* are perfect for working smaller, narrower muscles. Effortlessly discriminate wrist extensors and flexors or assist MP flexion while inhibiting IP flexion.

The Head and Neck

Assess and treat bilateral masseter imbalance, tension headache and cervical muscle spasm.

The Trunk

Evaluate sagittal trunk movements for low back problems.

At Home: Choose the TR Series for Rehabilitation

Assess ergonomic posture and train repetitive strain patients to maintain correct posture during work performance.

The TR Series portable modules provide the necessary link between clinical training and compliance with a home exercise program. Simple and easy to operate the TR Series reduces the patient's task to no more than turning on the unit. The TR instrument tracks the patient's progress and provides visual and audio cues based on successful performance. Work/rest intervals can also be established. The TR-10C comes with built-in memory, serial output and Pathway™ Compliance Software for personal computer interface. Up to 30 home training sessions can be stored in the TR-10C's memory for computer
transfer and report generation. The overall result of using the TR Series is faster recovery through the patient's direct and timely transfer of skills learned with the MR Series.
